EchoGRID organised several "exchange between projects" and "dissemination" to the GRID Community at the following events:

ICT'08 Event (25-27 November 2008, Lyon, France), EchoGRID had a joint booth in the International Village with the BRIDGE and GridCOMP EU projects with the primary goal of showcasing EU-China co-operation success stories and the benefits of grid to a very large audience. A networking session on future research priorities in the area of Grids took place on thursday 27 November, which brought together representatives from BRIDGE, 3S, Challengers and NESSI-GRID, with the aim of fostering endorsement of strategic research agendas for Europe and future collaborative developments. Grids@Work Week , Sophia Antipolis, France (20-24 October 2008). The Grid PlugTests took place within the GRIDs@Work’08 week event, which was organised by INRIA, ERCIM, and ETSI, with the support of EchoGRID, GridCOMP and several sponsors such as Microsoft, ActiveEon, Oracle, HP, Amazon Web Services, Liama, Premia, Huawei, Grid’5000 and InTrigger, thus giving a high industrial visibility to this event. Several EU-funded projects such as SOA4ALL, SLA@SOI, IRMOS, Reservoir, DEPLOY, ADMIRE, S-Cube, STREAM, QosCosGrid, XtreemOS, EDGeS, NESSI-Grid, NEXOF-RA, and also the ETSI organisation attended this Grids@Work week.

OGF23 in Barcelona, Spain (2-6 June 2008); EchoGRID held a joint booth with BRIDGE and EuIndiaGrid projects.

Fassbinder Workshop , Brussels (28 May 2008) - Participation of EchoGRID with a presentation on Cooperative Investments in IT Software and Services: Europe, India and China, made by Michael Wilson from ERCIM-STFC

IV Grid plugtest , Beijing (29 - 31 October 2007) jointly organised by ETSI , INRIA and ERCIM, was held in parallel of  the second EchoGRID workshop and was hosted by the Computer Network Information Center - CAS. This event was organised in cooperation with two EC funded projects, GridComp and Bridge.
